Society for International Development -Journal Launch on African Strategies for Transformation

The Society for International Development will launch its new Development journal publication called African Strategies for Transformation. The launch will take place on Wednesday March 20th, 2013 from 9:30am-12:00pm at the New Africa Hotel Crystal Ballroom with Mr. Omari Issa, CEO of Investment Climate Facility for Africa, as our guest of honor.  

The launch will provide a platform to delve into a variety of discussions on what transformation means for Africa and Tanzania. There has been a lot of excitement surrounding the fact that ‘Africa is Rising,’ but which Africa are people talking about? Which Africa is rising? Are we seeing transformation on the ground in Tanzania? These are just some of the questions we hope to answer with our panel of ‘African Changemakers,’ moderated by Mr. Charles Obbo, Executive Editor for the Africa and Digital Media Division at the Nation Media Group.
