The WAJIBU Institute of Public Accountability and Policy Forum (PF) have officially been introduced in three regions—Dodoma, Lindi, and Katavi by the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG) for the implementation of a new governance project titled Empowering Citizenry Agency for Strengthened Public Governance and Sustainable Growth in Tanzania.
We are an NGO established purposely with the aim of perpetuating development. The Sustainable Hub for Policy Initiatives (SHPI) believes that Good governance is a vital component for acquiring sustainable development which leads to poverty alleviation.
The Sustainable Hub for Policy Initiates (SHPI) is committed to achieving Sustainable development goals, Nation's long-term vision, strategies, and National policy therefore the organization has defined good governance as a guiding objective.
Interventions:
The measures taken by the Government of Tanzania after the release of the report of the Controller and Auditor General for the year 2021/2022, which showed that there has been a large amount of misuse of public funds have been stated to be ineffective because the concept of accountability has not been fully implemented.
Stakeholders have demanded that the government and mining companies expand on more ways to build the capacity of Tanzanians located near mining areas for them to access opportunities in their areas.
The policy debate revolved around the complaints of petty traders, such as the establishment of business stalls by the council and government officials, which benefit the owners of these establishments. It also focused on

Article 20 (1) of the Constitution of United Republic of Tanzania stipulates that every person has the freedom to assemble and express views publicly or through associations /organizations. Although the mother law recognizes the right to assemble, there are still some political decisions which infringe the right to assemble peacefully in the country.
