In October 2014 the name of the organization was changed to REPOA Limited in order to reflect its broader mandate without losing the brand name already established.
Fishers Union Organisation ( FUO) works on fields such as good governance, health care provision (HIV/AIDS), malaria, gender violence, protection of fishers Right, enter-economic strengthening, drug abuse, to save person with mental hardship and prevention of illegal fishing activities.
FUO intends to become one of the best development partners in empowering fishers and fishing communities to become prosperous and conserve environment for sustainable development.
On the occasion of the 36th Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC Summit), we the undersigned members of the Coalition for an Effective SADC Tribunal, are raising serious concerns over state parties insistence in denying access to justice to the citizenry of this region as per the revised SADC Tribunal Protocol. The Protocol strips the Tribunal of its jurisdiction to hear complaints from individual citizens of SADC.

On the eve of the SADC Heads of State Summit on Sunday 16th August the Coalition for an effective SADC Tribunal calls on heads of state to uphold the rule of law and human rights in the region by reinstating the SADC Tribunal.
