Simplification of the 2021/22 National Budget

PF will hold a joint meeting with colleagues from the Ministry of Finance and Planning to improve the simplified version of the National Budget known as the Citizens Budget Document. The task will take place on 26th & 27th August 2021 at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), Morogoro.

The public has the right to know how the duty bearers (The Government) are planning to solicit and spend the public funds for the development. Traditionally budget documents contain complex intricacies that are not user friendly to the public, hence, PF is obliged to simplify them for easy consumption.
